New York Getaway

Grant and I used his New York firm annual New Year kickoff party as an excuse to get away for the weekend. We were grateful that Austin and Susie watched the kids and it sounds like they had a great time too! Our highlight was seeing Hugh Jackman in The Music Man. He was so incredibly talented! He looked just like he does in the movies. He was charismatic, fun, and it was a wonderful production.

We also saw "& Juliet" with Russell and Katya Jonas which had Stark Sands in it. Russell, Grant, and Stark went to high school together. The show was great and I hope Cadie can see it someday. We also saw Kimberly Akimbo which ended up sweeping the Tony's.

We stayed at the Hilton Times Square and it was fun to get to see New York with much of the Christmas decor still up. 

Happy New Year - Farmhouse Edition

New Year's Eve at the farmhouse was a blast! Every nook and cranny was filled with friends and family. There were fireworks, air hockey tournament, smores, go-karts, box forts built, hot tubbing, fabulous brunch made by the one-and-only chef Mary Haye (French toast casserole - yum!!), and hats! DD specifically requested a picture of all her kids and their +1s. We did take one normal one, but also had some fun taking a picture with everyone mixed up. Family is the best!
