Colton is double digits!

Our littlest is not so little anymore! We celebrated him thoroughly as he moved to the land of double digits. Cadie's friend Arden crocheted him an adorable dog that he named Coco, Nina and Papa hosted a family dinner on Colton's birthday at their house (complete with balloons and menu of his choice - pizza), and his party was a Epic Waters with about 15 kiddos. They confirmed it was Epic!

Colton picked a squirrel theme which the girls seemed to enjoy more than the boys. There were squirrels on his cake, squirrel napkins and plates, and stuffed squirrels as the party favors. The kids really loved Epic waters, but Grant and I were HOT! Thankfully, we had the party room for an hour and a half, but after that we were at tables in the main area, which was not air conditioned. At least Colton loved it so that made it worth it. For the first time, Colton made a birthday wish list on Amazon, and he did have fun picking out things and he received lots from his list which he also loved. 

Colton continues to be the sweetest kid who enjoys cuddling, playing with friends, being with his family, running errands, eating, playing with his cousins, building things, sleeping in Mom and Dad's bed (especially if Dad is out of town), taking long baths, animals, drawing, and telling jokes. He is a joy and we loved celebrating him.

We have all 3 schools covered!

We have a high schooler, middle schooler, and elementary schooler! Three kids in three schools. Gonna be an action packed year!

Cadie is riding with Ava Marie and Sophia Price to school and she went off on her first day with her friends. While I kinda was sad not to take her, going to high school with friends is great and I thought she might like walking in together. She was nervous, but she did get the chance to walk through her schedule during "fish camp" on Monday. She has an awesome schedule and I know she is going to do great!

Jack Ranger's Raider Hour teacher is Miss Bridges (his Spanish teacher) and he is doing cross country, choir, and Spanish. His cross country coach is Coach Gruber and he had to get there every day by 7pm to start practice. He is mostly excited that he finally got a phone this year. Cadie got a new iphone 13 and Ranger got Cadie's old phone. 

Colton is in TAG this year and he is our first kid in a TAG program. He is in TAG for both math and explorations and his TAG teacher is Miss Myers. His main teacher is Miss Whitmeyer. It is such a small world because she knows Joy because she gets coffee at LDU every morning!

Cadie Mom Day - High School Here She Comes!

Cadie and I finally had our Mom Day and we used it to get ready for high school! We got smoothies, Cadie got a haircut at an Aveda salon (long-layers, please), and we did major shopping at Athleta. She got so many cute clothes. She also really enjoyed getting a real haircut and a bit of pampering before she begins her next big chapter. I love this girl so much!
