Argentina
I had a work trip to Argentina May 25-29. I spent most of my time in Buenos Aries, but I also took a day trip to Plata Del Mar. I traveled with Veronica on my team and we had a good time together. Our flight back to BA from Plata Del Mar was delayed for 4 hours. Even though we had a very long day, we took advantage of the time and headed to the beach. We had to take a bus to a taxi stop and then take a taxi to the beach and once we got there it was really lovely. We took a few pictures, I put my feet in the ocean and then we went back up to the street and found a little bar that served very nice pizza. The trip was intense and was pretty much just office, back to hotel, sleep and then back to office. But it was very productive and we got everything done that we needed to do.

We love Peyton
Our beautiful Peyton just turned 21! We are thankful for her every day. She is kind, loving and patient. The kids love her and so do I! She really loves each of the children and she takes our craziness in stride. She helps me so much by making sure it isn't total chaos when I walk in the door after work. She almost always has the house picked up and many nights she has dinner ready to go.
Peyton is trying to teach the kids Spanish and the baby is really picking it up! He knows his body parts and sometimes even says Spanish words. Recently he kept saying "pato" and I finally figured out he wanted to go to the duck park.
When Grant and I were on our trip, Payton emailed us, "I've been so excited that I had to send yall an email. When I came in this morning Colton saw me and yelled PeyPey! I nearly cried. All day he has willingly said PeyPey or called me that when he wants my attention. My heart is completely overflowing with joy! Okay, that's it, I just had to tell yall!😊💗 -Peyton"

Grandma Jack Comes to Dallas
My 91-year old Grandmother (Ernestene Elizabeth Feagan) visited us in Texas this past weekend. It was incredibly special. We had dinner together on Thursday at my parent's house in Dallas. Then on Friday my parents and Grandma Jack made the 2+ hour drive to DeKalb, Texas where my grandmother visited her brother Murrell. They had a special reunion and I think they hadn't seen each other in about 18 years.
On Saturday I fixed brunch and grandma and my folks arrived around 9am and we ate and talked and played with the kids until about noon. I loved getting to spend time with my grandma who is so very important to me. I know the trip was hard for her. She is nearly blind and very fragile, but she was a good traveler and my parents were incredibly attentive to make it as early on her as possible. I talk with my grandma at least once a week on my way to work and often twice a week and I loved getting to show her my home and have her get to know my kiddos better.

UP Field Day
The rain messed up field day just a little bit, but Cadie said it was still fun. We met in Charlie Simmons house right across the street from the school for the kids to get their shirts on and get their war paint! Marcy had donuts, banana's, milk and juice and it was a party at 7:30am! The kids had to go into the gym for the games and Cadie said she enjoyed the relay race most.

Kiyah Comes to Play
My cousin, Kelly, and her husband, Roman, just bought a new house and they were moving on Saturday so they borrowed our trailer to move and Kiyah got to spend the day with us. She is the sweetest little girl and we didn't want her to go home!
We played outside in the mud in the morning and in the afternoon played outside again with bubbles. Kiyah didn't want to nap, but Cadie and I laid down in my bed with her and she fell asleep really quickly. She and Colton loved chasing each other around and they also loved jumping together in the trampoline.

CoCo Bongo
Truly like nothing I had ever seen before. Party, broadway musical, dance club all wrapped into one. Grant sprung for the VIP tickets and it was definitely worth it. Yes, by the end of the night Courtney and I were dancing on the main stage. It was a fun night :)
