Cadie at Sky Ranch - Little House Cabin

Sweet Cadie couldn't wait to go back to Sky Ranch. She promised me she would check up on Ranger and I think she did go find him at some of the meal times, but sounds like he did great on his own. Cadie says her favorite things about camp are the banana boat and the round-ups in the evenings.

I was nervous about my little JR going to a whole week of camp by himself. But, he did GREAT! He loved it and I am not sure he was really ready to come home when we picked him up on Saturday morning.

Pittsburg, PA - Exceeded our Expectations!

We wrapped up our last night in Pittsburgh with great seats to see U2 at Heinz Field! It was a short but fun 2-day getaway while our kids are away at Sky Ranch summer camp. Riverboat tour, incline railway to dinner atop Mt. Washington, the Andy Warhol Museum, brunch at the famous Pamela's Diner in the Strip District, Three Rivers Art Festival, and biking all over town. Steel City definitely exceeded our expectations! Plus U2 was amazing...with a beautiful sunset rainbow over the river just seconds before the band took the stage. Luck of the Irish at the end of the rainbow!?!?!?

So much has been going on between my new job at Southwest, Grant's travel schedule picking up, my Mom's health journey, kids school and activities...I have found it difficult to keep up with the blog. Here are a few recent fun highlights!

Hosting a baby shower for sweet Mary Haye. Baby Jack is due in just 10 days!

Jack Ranger lost is first tooth on April 14 and he lost his second just last week!

Laura Bush came to read to Cadie's class!

New tradition with the Riley Family - every other month the kids stay at our house and then the Rileys for a sleepover. The first one was a success at our house and I am looking forward to our turn later this month1

Road trip for Cadie, Colton and I to the Waco Silos. Major success with cupcakes from the new bakery and ceiling tiles from a lumber yard in Hillsboro.

Visits from Courtney, Bethany, and Eric and Anna. I wish I had gotten more pictures!
