Our third day in Dallas was the official birthday party, but first my mom, sisters, and I had a girls time, which was very special. We had lunch at a lovely sushi place, got pedicures, and even found a dining room table for my mom at a consignment store we popped into for a minute. It was great to be with some of the most special women in my life and get to know them just a little bit better.
The birthday party started with a pizza dinner at the Walsh house, which Erin and the kids had decorated for party. Samuel thought the decorations were great. We then moved on to the University Park pool, which is just down the street, and had a blast on the water slide and in the pool. We had a chocolate chip cookie cake and ice cream at the pool, and it was about as perfect a party as possible.
