Blossoming and 15!

Cadie is a stunning 15-year-old! She is smart, responsible, funny, thoughtful, and just all-around lovely. We celebrated with Arden, Avery & Shauna, and Layne with a CRC treehouse slumber party. Grant decorated the house and treehouse so cute and even got the girls a pinata! I got Cadie a special strawberry cake shaped like a book. We went to First Monday Trade days and went shopping. The best purchase was by Layne - a seahorse named Walter. And at the farm we swam in the lake and hot tub, the girls rode around in the mule, and they ate soooo much candy! 

Cadie had a birthday wish come true at the last minute because Nina and Papa agreed to keep the boys at their house in Dallas so that Cadie could have the farm and her parents all to herself. It actually worked out well all-around because it was so nice for me to be able to rest a bit more and also hang out with Shauna. Grant took care of us all and then he stayed to get everything cleaned up while I took the girls back to Dallas on Sunday afternoon.

On Thursday, her actual birthday, DD picked up cookies that I had ordered from Tom Thumb and Cadie shared them with the crew at the Chicago rehearsal at school.
