2022 Wrap-Up

What a year!

Going to throw together a few things that I am not sure were covered in other blog posts. 

1/24: Grant curling for the first time with his Culhane Meadows partners in Philadelphia. He said it was fun!

1/29 Dallas Culhane Meadows yearly kickoff party at Eataly. I bet Grant and I will always appreciate homemade pasta after this fun class.

2/3: Huge snow storm in Dallas!

2/14: Another icy day in Dallas. Big John actually fell on his steps in the front yard and Grant took him to the hospital. I am not going to attach pics as the cut was pretty nasty. He recovered with no issues, but it was scary when it happened.

4/3: Grant went to the Final Four in New Orleans with Shane Haughain and some of his friends. Grant had a great time.

4/10: Dinner with Grant's High School friends.

7/6: CJ Johnson Magic Show

9/17: Grant, Papa, and Christy at Baylor Football

10/10: Lee Family visited us at the Farm - Jay, Lee Sun, Julius, Mia, Isaiah, Anna. 

10/16: Colton got his 3rd grade Bible during church services after doing a class together with Grant and I.

And lots of general fun with family and friends! We are so grateful for this beautiful life we get to live.

2022 Concert Recap

4/6: Chris Tomlin and Hillsong at AA Center with Tom, Shauna, and Avery. So grateful for the Gray family. The concert was awesome! Colton did fall asleep on my lap at the end.

5/14: Erin and Grant at Dave Mathews concert. So fun to run into Kristie Jacob there!

5/21: Zac Brown Band with Hudson and Breah. It was more cold than expected but we had a great time.

5/29: Erin & Grant at Coldplay in Chicago

6/4: Coldplay was too good! Grant took Cadie and Ranger to see them in New York. The report is that JR was lost only temporarily in the crowd.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas this included Cadie's Christmas Choir Concert at Northpark mall, a boys trip to Six Flags, forced kids pictures with Santa Claus at Benchmark Bank, kids and mom date night to see Rudolph that 5/6 musical at the middle school (it was so awesome!), Christmas Eve at DD and Big John's, so many snuggies (thanks Costco), new go-karts at the farm (thanks Big John!), building the gaga ball pit at the farm (Thanks Aunt CJ!), over a week at the farm with lots of visitors (Hardaway Family, Westcott Family, and Lynch Family). 

I especially loved the extended time at the farm. We had only planned to stay a few nights and we thought we would go back to Dallas, but we were having such a wonderful and restful time that we ended up staying over a week. It was wonderful because so many friends and family came to stay with us that the time flew by.
